18 Ludwig is a project commissioned by FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) in and was exhibited as a part of the Knowledge Lives Everywhere exhibition.

Based around a property in the Anfield area of Liverpool which had been lived in continuously by the same family since 1904. It was vacated in 2009 when the last of the family members died. The interior of the house hadn't been changed much in the years the family had lived there - the final occupant living alone since returning from the Second World War changing very little over this time too.

My approach to this body of work came by way of me having no prior knowledge as to the backstory relating to these premises. The act of photographing objects and traces of occupants was a way to discover a narrative.
